Volunteer

"Many hands make light work." This adage is so true - you should see what a difference it makes to the garden to have a team working away together!  The garden really needs volunteers to come help us weed, pick trash and keep it looking presentable. Can you help?

Individuals:
We have a monthly volunteer day on the first Saturday of each month, rain or shine, from 10am-12pm.

No gardening skills are needed, and we provide tools, gloves and drinks. Just show up!

Special help needed

We're looking for people to help with social media and volunteer coordination, so if you're interested in joining the team to help, even if it's just a few minutes a month, we'd be totally thrilled - email annie @ psgsf.org to find out more.

Companies or other groups:
Many companies now set aside time to encourage employees to volunteer locally. Want to have your very own workday here in Potrero Hill? We can arrange for you to come as a group, and will provide everything needed to help you engage with the community and improve it, in a very green way. Email annie at psgsf.org and find out how to set up a corporate workday for your company.

Companies like Genentech, Juul, GoodData, 3D Systems and more have all worked alongside us, with more to come this year!

Of course EVERYONE is welcome to pick trash and pull weeds anytime - not just at a volunteer day - and the gardens really need a watchful eye on them, as we experience homeless encampments, vandalism, theft and so on just like any open place in the city.
